TREE LIGHTING AT BRYANT PARK WINTER VILLAGE
On the 1st of December 2017, head to a special and magical Tree Lighting event. The event is hosted by the Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park.
As one of the most popular holiday markets in New York, the Winter Village at Bryant Park has big plans to make their tree-lighting ceremony a smash. Be prepared to be dazzled by a theatrical ice-skating show starring World Champions and Olympian skaters Kimmie Meissner, Meryl Davis and Charlie White as well as Jeff Buttle. The legendary Johnny Weir will also hit the 17,000-square-foot rink.
And you’ll definitely want to stop by to see this year’s celebrity host for the evening: Tony-winner Jane Krakowski. Make sure to get there early to peruse more than 150 holiday shops and grab tasty treats from all the food vendors before the festivities kick off at 6 pm.

Skating hours: Daily 8am–10pm, through Mar 4.
Holiday Shops: Mon–Fri 11am–8pm, Sat, Sun 10am–8pm, through January 2. Many shops are open on major holidays.

TREE LIGHTING AT ROCKEFELLER CENTRE
The 2017 tree will be lit for the first time on Wednesday, November 29 at Rockefeller Plaza. The tree will remain lit and on display on the plaza between West 48th and 51st Streets and Fifth and Sixth Avenues until 9 pm on January 7.
The annual tree lighting ceremony is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
